ORIGINAL STORY: A San Luis Obispo man was killed this week while walking along a Northern California Interstate.
The California Highway Patrol says the 40-year-old man was walking southbound in the westbound lanes of I-80 in Roseville at about 12:45 a.m. Thursday when a driver was unable to stop in time and hit him.
CHP officers say another vehicle then swerved out of the way of the collision and also struck the man.
The pedestrian, whose name has not been released by CHP, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both drivers involved reportedly remained at the scene.
