A pedestrian was hospitalized with major injuries after being hit by a car in Atascadero over the weekend, police say.
Atascadero police say emergency crews were dispatched to the 7700 block of Morro Road shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday to reports of the incident.
Police say the person had been standing in the middle of the road when they were hit.
No other information was immediately available.
