Emergency crews rescued a person who fell 25 feet off a cliff, into a culvert in the Painted Cave area on Thursday night.
Santa Barbara County Fire arrived on scene around 11 p.m. Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Search and Rescue also responded. After a search, teams located the victim and performed a high-angle rope rescue.
The victim, who was not identified, was transported to Cottage hospital in critical condition, according to public information officer Daniel Bertucelli.
