Pet owners and their furry friends smiled big with Santa Claus for a holiday photo shoot.
The Central Coast Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals held a "Santa Paws Photos" fundraiser in Santa Maria Sunday
Community members brought their dogs, cats, horses and other pets to Myra and Chelsi's Grooming in Santa Maria to take holiday photos with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.
It costed about $.10.50 for a photo.
The event also featured a bake sale, silent auction and raffle baskets for pet owners.
All funds from the event goes to the major medical fund for hurt and abused animals.
"This event funds all of our intakes for the year, gets them to the vet, gets them spayed and vaccinated for the year, their flea treatment and sent to foster care. so this event funds that for the whole year," said Jeannine Wade, president of Central Coast SPCA.
This is the organization's 16th annual "Santa-paws" fundraiser.
