Pacific Gas & Electric crews are training for a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) in Paso Robles Friday.
According to the San Luis Obispo County Office of Emergency Services, helicopters and ground crews will be working in Paso Robles from 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Residents may notice more PG&E and contractor trucks than usual, according to the power company.
OES officials say the drill is a "field exercise focusing on line inspection and step restoration training for PG&E staff."
Power will not be impacted during the drill, according to county officials.
