Thousands of Northern California PG&E customers will get their power shutoff this weekend.
The utility company announced Thursday night it will shut off power to customers temporarily.
These power safety shutoffs are a precaution as higher temperatures are expected.
There are no plans for any power shutoffs on the Central Coast.
