A pickup truck crashed through a hotel room and into a coffee shop in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday afternoon.
It happened at about 3:30 p.m. at the Los Padres Inn in the 1500 block of Monterey Street.
The truck went all the way through the room and into The 4 Cats Café and Gallery next door.
First responders say the male driver was not hurt but was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
A woman staying in the hotel room had just left to get some food when the crash happened and she also was not injured.
Gas service had to be shut off to both businesses and Monterey Street was closed at California Boulevard.
