Three of four Central Coast Pier 1 locations are among hundreds of stores the company plans to close this year.
Pier 1 in Arroyo Grande sent out an email to customers Wednesday with news of the up to 30 percent off store closing sale.
Stores in Goleta and Santa Maria are also closing. The Paso Robles location is staying open, as of now.
While an exact closing date has not been announced, Goleta says its closure is likely to happen sometime in April.
The news of the local closures comes less than two weeks after the company said it would be closing up to 450 stores and shutter distribution centers.
Pier 1 reported a net loss of $59 million for the last quarter, which ended Nov. 30.
