Students and staff at Pioneer Valley High School in Santa Maria are being encouraged to take a COVID-19 test before returning from spring break.
The school distributed the tests kits after school on Thursday as an extra precaution.
Students will return to campus on April 25 where COVID-19 testing will resume.
The school advised students and staff that testing was also available at Allan Hancock College during the break.
