Pioneer Valley High School students celebrated a major milestone Friday.

A drive-thru celebration recognized the nearly 300 students who have completed the requirements to attend a four-year university.

The students maintained a GPA high enough to apply to any UC or CSU campus.

"We wanted to set this up to just recognize all their hard work and just motivate them to continue moving forward and getting those classes done,” said Laura Rojas, EAOP college site coordinator at Pioneer Valley High School.

The students received a certificate, goodie bag and information on how to apply for financial aid and fill out college applications.
