The Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce warned of vendors selling items without permits on the beach area.
In a Facebook post, the chamber asked people do not buy anything from the sellers.
"They are selling items on the beach they do not have permits, pay taxes, and they do not contribute to the community and this is absolutely devastating for our local businesses that are trying to stay afloat during this Covid time!!"
The post stated the chamber does not condone the actions and asks residents contact the the Pismo Police Department.
"Our local businesses are literally doing everything they can to keep their doors open please help us with this problem!"
