Pismo Bowl bowling alley in Pismo Beach is opening back up this weekend!
A Central Coast staple for over 80 years, Pismo Bowl has been closed since March 17 -- but this weekend they're offering food for pick-up.
The bowling alley was encouraged by a surge in tourism last week. Pismo Bowl will be open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
"We're going to try and open tomorrow for take-out food," said Pismo Bowl owner Steve Goldie. "We'll see how it goes."
Goldie says that if shelter-at-home orders extends into the Summer -- and the bowling alley has to remain closed -- the Pismo Bowl is at risk for closing forever.
Their current closure was the first time the bowling alley has been in shuttered 81 years.
