The Pismo Preserve will soon be featured in a PBS travel docu-series.
The 27-minute episode called "Walkin' California" follows host Steve Weldon and Land Conservancy Ecologist Lindsey Roddick.
They explore the preserve's 11 miles of trails and nearly 900 acres of woodland.
The episode will air on Sacramento station KVIE several times this month. It can also be streamed on the PBS app or online.
The Pismo Preserve is currently closed to comply with social distancing guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic and stay-at-home orders.
The popular hiking destination opened to the public in late January. It is unknown when it will reopen.
