Pismo Beach police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Vitamin World in the Pismo Beach Premium Outlets at about 1:20 p.m. Thursday.
Police say the man showed a hand gun to the cashier and demanded money.
He ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.
The suspect was described as a male adult, mid 20’s to mid 30’s, clean shaven, approximately 5’9” tall, athletic build, wearing a black beanie, a black long sleeved shirt, tan colored pants, and grey shoes.
Officers conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect.
