The Santa Maria Police Department is seeking the public's assistance for information in a 2018 homicide investigation.
It happened on Dec. 8, 2018 at around 1:30 a.m. when officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Thornburg and Enos.
Officers say when they arrived they located Adrian Alvarez, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Alvarez was later pronounced dead at the scene.
On the two-year anniversary detectives continue to actively seek information regarding this case.
