UPDATE (11:15 a.m.) - The Santa Maria-Bonita School District says they have now learned the threat was not made against Tommie Kunst Jr. High, but was instead "a verbal, general threat from one student personally to another."

ORIGINAL STORY: Police say they've identified a teen responsible for making threats at Tommie Kunst Jr. High in Santa Maria.

Police Friday morning said they became aware of "threats of violence" at the school, located at 930 Hidden Pines Way, Thursday night and identified a 13-year-old responsible.

After working with parents and school administrators, police say they determined there is currently no known threats to the school.

District officials say police are present at the school Friday morning and "the school is addressing the issue from a disciplinary angle."
