ORIGINAL STORY: A power outage is impacting thousands of PG&E customers in downtown San Luis Obispo.
According to PG&E, the outage began shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday and was impacting nearly 4,700 customers.
The cause was not immediately known and PG&E said crews were en route.
As of 3:10 p.m., power was expected to be restored by 6 p.m.
