Santa Barbara County fire is planning a prescribed fire training burn June 10 and 11 on Figueroa Mountain Road in Los Olivos.
Burning is expected to start at 9:30 a.m. and finish at 6 p.m. on each day.
Crews will burn 86 acres of grassland and black sage scrub.
The goal of the burn is to provide live fire training for the certification of instructors to teach CA-219 Firing Operations class.
A portable air monitor will be set up in the area to monitor air quality conditions. If conditions are not favorable, the Air Pollution Control District says the burn will be canceled and rescheduled.
