USA Today just announced its list of Top 10 Best Tasting Rooms in the United States and Presqu'ile Winery in Santa Maria ranked number 8.
The magazine said Presqu'ile Winery was recognized for its seamless transition from indoors to outdoors as well as its view of surrounding vineyards.
8 of the 10 wineries recognized on the list are in California.
The winery with the best tasting room, according to USA Today is Castello di Amorosa in Calistoga.
USA Today said the winners were selected by a panel of experts that partnered with the magazine's 10Best editors. They picked 20 original nominees and the top 10 winners were determined by popular vote.
