Congressman Salud Carbajal is hosting a town hall meeting in Santa Maria on Thursday to answer questions from constituents.
Carbajal is expected to provide a summary of legislation going through the 116th Congress.
He will also take any comments or questions from community members about federal policies and other issues.
The town hall will be held at the Veterans Memorial Building, located at 313 W. Tunnell St., starting at 5:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
