An Arroyo Grande man is facing multiple drug possession charges following reports of a reckless driver in Grover Beach this week.
Grover Beach police say officers responded at about 4:41 p.m. Tuesday to reports of a reckless and possibly intoxicated driver seen swerving in and out of traffic in the westbound lanes of Grand Avenue off Highway 1.
Police say a vehicle matching the description given was found with the driver inside on the 600 block of West Grande.
Inside the vehicle, police say they found prescription medication and narcotics packaged for sale, which allegedly included more than 1,800 Xanax pills, 10 grams of methamphetamine and more than $600 in cash.
The 25-year-old driver was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of multiple drug charges.
