Reservations are now available to purchase succulents at the Cal Poly Plant Shop.

The plant shop, which us features many varieties of succulents, all grown by students.

Four thousand plants are available with prices ranging from $3 to $30.

The plant shop is open Thursday through Saturday.

Appointments can be booked online and are available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No more than six reservations will be allowed per hour with a limit of six reservations per hour.

The plant shop usually holds Succulentopia in the spring, but had to make changes this year due to COVID-19 concerns.

"The community has traditionally shown huge support for Succulentopia, and we have worked diligently to find a safe way to continue to offer the sale to the public," said Wendy Robinson, unit manager. "Students grew and cared for the plants in campus greenhouses and prepared for the sale throughout the school year, and we are thrilled to be able to continue to highlight their hard work."

Cal Poly says that while people can walk-in, customers will be accommodated as space allows.

Masks will be required and social distancing practiced.

Credit cards will be the only form of payment type accepted.
