If you’re planning on taking the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner this summer, some weekend reservations are now required.
The weekends include the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July weekend, the opening weekend of the Del Mar Races and Labor Day weekend.
Reservations will be needed for Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains that travel between San Diego and San Luis Obispo.
Additional train cars are also being added when possible.
