No one was injured when a fire broke out at a Grover Beach home Tuesday afternoon.
The Five Cities Fire Authority responded to the home on the 800 block of 1st Street at about 2:18 p.m.
Fire officials say the fire started in a bedroom and firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading beyond that.
However, the home did sustain extensive damage and was deemed uninhabitable.
The Red Cross was called to out to assist the people who live there.
The cause is under investigation.
