A portion of Highway 246 in Lompoc will be closed again Wednesday for resurfacing.
The highway from Sweeney Road to Mission Gate Road is set to be closed until 4 p.m. while grinding and paving work is underway.
Drivers can use Purisima Road as a detour into Lompoc. Those heading toward Buellton can detour to Highway 1 and then onto Purisima Road to get around the closure.
The two-day project began Tuesday.
