Righetti High School in Santa Maria held a drive-thru event Friday for graduating seniors to pick up their caps and gowns.
Teachers with Righetti High School cheered as the students rolled through the parking lot to get their graduation attire.
Despite the unusual circumstance, students were excited to participate in the drive-thru event.
"I think it's the best we can do right now, and honestly I think it brings our community together no matter what the circumstances are I feel that its important to be in the spirit of everything," said Righetti High School senior, Emily Lopez.
Righetti High School is on of several other high schools on the Central Coast who are also doing drive-thru pick ups for seniors to collect graduation materials.
