Lompoc police say they were called to the back of Kim Jiffy Mart on the 1000 block of N H Street at about 6:15 p.m. to reports of the robbery.

Police say the person who reported the crime said a man with a knife had threatened a woman and taken her belongings.

A short time later, police took John Mario Fuegos, 49, into custody.
