Travelers on Highway 41 west of Atascadero should expect traffic delays on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Caltrans says crews will be conducting a rock scaling operation, dislodging and removing loose rocks on the hillside above the highway.
Traffic control will be in place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Old Morro Rd. and Torro Creek Rd. Travelers in both directions should expect delays of up to 15 minutes.
Caltrans says this work is done to help prevent potential closures during the rainy season.
