SAN LUIS OBISPO — The owner of Rolld Ice Cream in downtown San Luis Obispo said the shop was broken into earlier this week.
Jacob Zachman said he noticed the door was busted open Wednesday morning when he went to open the shop for the day.
He said his business has never been burglarized before.
"They took some chocolate wafer straws, they took one of the employee's jackets in the back and then a floor mat and then some other food I couldn't really tell what was in their hands,"Zachman said.
He said he does not know the exact dollar amount that was taken, but that the thief cleared out the register.
