Salvation Army seeking bell ringers ahead of holiday season

The Salvation Army is looking for volunteer bell ringers for the holidays.

In just a couple of months, you'll start hearing the familiar sound of bells and spotting those iconic red kettles outside of businesses and post offices across the Central Coast.

The Salvation Army's Kettle Campaign is the organization's most recognizable fundraiser, and officials say donations are kept locally to help residents in need.

Bell ringers typically work two-hour shifts. Volunteers are needed starting November 25 through December 24.
