Schools in the San Luis Coastal Unified School District were closed Monday.
The closure affects all classes. Monday was supposed to be the first day back for schools following winter break.
The district says a decision has not yet been made on whether classes will take place Tuesday, as it will depending on flooding and power outages.
Cal Poly also canceled classes Monday.
