It looks like Christmas came early for some this year!
The San Luis Obispo Blues baseball team and the San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) donated 52 teddy bears today to the child patients of Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center.
The Blues and APCD have teamed up for five years now to donate teddy bears. Two teddy bears were donated this year for every double play that occurred in the Blues’ past season.
With 162 beds, Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center is the largest hospital in San Luis Obispo County.
