UPDATE (9:38 p.m.) - CAL FIRE SLO says a female in her 20's suffered an ankle injury.
Crews assisted her near the switchbacks. She was transported to an area hospital, according to officials.

ORIGINAL STORY (3:26 p.m.) - Emergency crews are responding to Bishop Peak in San Luis Obispo for a rescue.
The San Luis Obispo City Fire Department says crews are working with CAL FIRE SLO to rescue an injured hiker.
It's unclear the extent of the hiker's injuries and where the hiker is located.
The CHP H-70 is also helping with this rescue.
