The San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP) launched a new health and safety program called SBP Nonstop Service.
It's designed to keep travelers safe, connected and informed.
The Nonstop Service program includes explanations of new travel procedures and best practices for minimizing the spread of germs. SBP has regionally themed graphics of wine barrels and Cal Poly Mustangs to help travelers measure social distancing. Signs throughout the airport tell travelers where face coverings are required and audio announcements reinforce health and safety.
Travelers are being reminded to take responsibility for individual health as well. Visitors are being asked to wash their hands, maintain social distance and avoid traveling while feeling sick.
The airport is following federal, state and local health and safety guidelines. It is also adhering to direction from the Transportation Security Administration and the Federal Aviation Administration.
