The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art has announced Leann Standish as their executive director.
According to the press release, she previously served as the executive director for the San Luis Obispo Foundation for the Performing Arts for nearly four years.
“I am so thrilled, I really have admired this community and its love for the cultural arts and I feel this is a chance to really dig my fingers into it and do something substantial with the support of so many great people,” Standish said.
She also says some things she is working on include bringing the museum outside and commissioning a mural to wrap the building.
