Santa Barbara's annual Old Spanish Days Fiesta looks a little different this year.

The event, which typically includes mercados, parades, and other live performances, instead includes many virtual activities this year because of the pandemic.

An online auction is going on now through August 9, and a livestreamed concert is planned for Friday.

Other events have continued in a modified fashion, including the Los Niños de las Flores Day of Service, which was held on Tuesday. Participating kids and teens visited local retirement homes to make socially distant flower drop-offs and visited city hall and the police and fire departments.

The Santa Barbara Historical Museum is also hosting an exhibit titled "Project Fiesta! A History of Old Spanish Days" in its courtyard.

La Fiesta Pequeña will be broadcast live Wednesday night and feature live performances by the Spirit of Fiesta, the Junior Spirit of Fiesta, and other live musical acts.
