Santa Barbara County Fire has added some new engines to its fleet.
The department says the six new Type 1 engines will provide updated technology advancements, safety systems and service to people in the county.
They’ll start being used for calls once crews receive specialized training.
The engines will be distributed among county fire stations in Santa Barbara, Goleta, Orcutt, New Cuyama and Santa Ynez.
