The Santa Barbara County Education Office (SBCEO) will host two education job fairs for community members interested in working for schools throughout Santa Barbara County.
The first job fair is scheduled for Feb. 8 from 9-11 a.m. at the SBCEO Auditorium, located at 4400 Cathedral Oaks Road in Santa Barbara.
The second job fair will take place on Feb. 22 from 9-11 a.m. at the Santa Maria-Bonita School District Souza Center, which is at 708 Miller Street in Santa Maria.
According to an official with SBCEO, school districts in Santa Barbara County are looking to hire teachers, speech and language specialists, instructional aides, administrative support staff, substitutes and other positions.
There will be district representatives at both job fairs to discuss career pathways with potential employees. Position requirements range from basic skills and experience to advanced degrees, said SBCEO.
Both job fairs are free and open to the public.
