The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office said this year's Halloween was "uneventful" in Isla Vista.

The operation lasted from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1.

Various agencies worked together in a coordinated effort.

“We in the Sheriff’s Office are pleased that Isla Vista was uneventful this Halloween,” Sheriff Bill Brown said in a press release. “That was our objective, and great credit is due to the large coalition of agencies and people that pulled together to plan, organize, educate and prepare for this weekend."

Officials said there were two arrests for public intoxication and driving under the influence, while a majority of the citations were alcohol-related offenses.

There were 20 citations and 1 incident report.
