The 2020 Santa Barbara Fair & Expo has been canceled.
Ben Sprague, CEO of the Earl Warren Showgrounds, said in a press release sent Tuesday, "The preservation of the health and safety of our community is our top priority and we think it best to prepare for the use of our Showgrounds for emergency management should the need arise."
The fair was scheduled to take place April 29-May 3.
The Haunt & Harvest Festival, which is set to take place at the Earl Warren Showgrounds on October 23-25, remains scheduled.
