Three people have been detained as the Santa Barbara Police Department investigate reports of shots fired.
Police said they responded to the 1300 block of Punta Gorda St. at Salinas St. shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday.
When officers arrived on scene, they recovered several rounds from what appears to be a shooting.
Shortly after that, Santa Barbara police pulled over a vehicle of the involved party near the 1300 block of Santa Barbara St.
From there officers detained three people who were inside the car.
According to authorities, no one appears to be injured and there is no immediate threat to the general public at this time.
Police are still investigating and reviewing video surveillance in the area. No arrests have been made yet.
