ORIGINAL STORY: Santa Barbara Police are searching for suspects in a stabbing that took place on State Street Thursday night.
Police responded to reports of a stabbing at around 10:30 p.m. on the 500 block of State Street.
Officers say when they arrived, they found one adult male victim with multiple wounds to his body.
Polise say several people witnessed the altercation that happened in front of a local bar.
The victim was transported to Cottage Hospital and is expected to survive.
The investigation is on-going and detectives are working to identify outstanding suspects.
