UPDATE: At-risk missing man out of Santa Barbara found safe

UPDATE (3:19 p.m.) - Police say Osmel Rosales-Cardenas was located by Santa Maria police at a shelter in Santa Maria and is safe. No other information is being released.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Santa Barbara Police Department is looking for a missing man considered to be at-risk.

Osmel Rosales-Cardenas, 48, was reported missing on June 27. Police say he was last seen by his landlord on June 23 in the 300 block of W. Arrellaga Street.

Police say Rosales-Cardenas is originally from Havana, Cuba, and does not have any local friends or family.

Authorities say he is currently unemployed and recently had a falling out with his significant other. They say he does not own a vehicle and it appears his phone has been turned off.

Rosales-Cardenas is described as 5'8" tall and 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police say he has previously spent some time in Ventura.
