Santa Maria’s Chick-fil-A location is closed temporarily.

Signs on the door say the “restaurant is following CDC guidance and taking precautions to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.”

Corporate officials were unable to provide detailed information on the Enos Ranch location closure, instead telling KSBY the following:

“Safe service is our top priority, and out of an abundance of caution for everyone we serve, Restaurant Operators have posted signs at Restaurant entrances asking Customers with symptoms of COVID-19 to not enter the Restaurant.”

Other Chick-fil-A locations are reportedly conducing temperature checks and health screening for all employees prior to the start of their shifts.

While the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department could not say whether any employees at the restaurant had tested positive for COVID-19, they did say there are no health concerns associated with the restaurant for the general public.
