SANTA MARIA, Calif. — The Santa Maria Fire Department responded to a trash fire near railroad tracks at the 800 block of S. Depot street Saturday evening.

Fire crews say the fire was contained to that area and no damages were reported.

Fire dispatch tells KSBY it took less than 30 minutes to put out the fire.

It's unclear at this time how the fire started.
