Santa Maria High School still found a way to celebrate their students moving on to higher education.
Teachers and counselors showed their support on Friday by lining the road and celebrating their students with a drive-thru ceremony.
Some students even decorated signs to show where they chose to further their education.
And while some students chose college, there was also applause for those like Madilynn Arguijo, who are joining the United States Armed Forces.
"It's really good to feel the support of the school even though after all we've been through," said Arguijo. "Even though school is coming to an end -- just that support we get."
About 150 students are moving on to higher education opportunities from Santa Maria High School.
