The Santa Maria Police Department is investigating a vehicle and pedestrian collision near Main Street that happened on Wednesday night.
Police were responding to a truck that had run into a tree when they noticed a pedestrian laying in the roadway as a result of a vehicle collision.
There was blood on the road. Santa Maria Police Department says that they were unsure of the extent of injury to the pedestrian.
