Santa Maria police are asking the community for help finding a missing teen girl.

Police say 13-year-old Serenity Chavez was reported missing Wednesday night.

Officers describe her as Hispanic, five feet tall and 190 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black leggings, a gray shirt and a black jacket.

Police are concerned Chavez may be at risk of being a victim of sexual exploitation.
