The Santa Maria Public Library is offering grab-and-go “LEGO Packs” for kids 6 to 17-years-old.

Each bag contains a LEGO booklist, challenge cards, activity ideas and LEGO bricks.

Since the regular LEGO program isn’t being offered during the pandemic, the Youth Services Department wanted kids to have a take home kit.

“I think people are hearing more about our programming and remembering that the library is here to serve them, so take advantage of it,” said Kaela Villalobos, youth librarian supervisor with the City of Santa Maria.

Pick up for the new grab-and-go service starts Tuesday, Dec. 8.

Library staff say all bricks are sanitized before and after use.
