Santa Maria's Downtown Fridays farmers' market has been rescheduled to kick off on Friday, August 7, and continue through Friday, November 27.
Organizers originally planned the event to begin in late March, but it was eventually postponed to early July due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to event organizers, they are rescheduling Downtown Fridays from early July to early August to ensure a "safe environment" for all.
Organizers say they are working closely with the city of Santa Maria and Santa Barbara County and expect to implement social distancing guidelines and rearrange how the event will be set up.
